Celebrate National Women’s History Month!
Join the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women and Senator Susan Tucker for a reenactment of Sarah and Angelina Grimke, the first women in U.S. history to address a legislative body- the 1838 Massachusetts State Legislature. Performed by Lani Peterson and Susan Lenoe, the reenactment of the lives of these abolitionist sisters and daughters of a South Carolina slave-holding family will be highly entertaining and informative.
