Letter-Writing for Gender Justice

Take action for transgender equality and meet a welcoming Jewish community.

Join us as we write letters to our legislators in support of HB 1722: An Act Relative to Gender-Based Discrimination and Hate Crimes. If passed, this bill will help secure basic rights for transgender people in the areas of employment, housing, public accommodations, public education, and acquiring credit for loans. It will also hold accountable those who perpetrate hate crimes because of a victim's gender identity or expression. (Visit masstpc.org/legislation for more information on the bill.)
