(Brookline, Mass.--February 21, 2008) Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 3rd, when the Brookline Arts Center will present "La Primavera Encantada", (Enchanted Spring) and exciting welcome to Spring at the beautiful Wightman Mansion at 43 Hawes Street. The Gala will have a lively Latin flair and lots of activity: exquisite food, exotic drinks, live music by "Ten Tumbao" (a funky, fresh 6 piece Afro-Latin-Caribbean band), includes 6 young, energetic musicians, each of whom leads the peripatetic life and has entrepreneurial spirit that musicians need today to grow their careers. Every band member has several occupations while continuing to compose and play their own work. "All of us are balancing 5 balls in the air at once," said Bandleader Kenny Kozol. During their performance there will also be an art exhibition and a silent auction.
