Join the Hadassah-Brandeis Institute (HBI), in partnership with the Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance (JOFA), for an evening of discussion with Tova Hartman, author of "Feminism Encounters Traditional Judaism." The novel is the latest publication in the HBI Series on Jewish Women and received the 2007 National Jewish Book Award. Hartman provides an innovative analysis of the tensions between modern Orthodox Judaism and feminism. The lecture and book signing will take place on Sunday, March 2, from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Hadassah-Brandeis Institute, 515 South St., Waltham, Mass. Books will be available for sale.
