A workshop which looks at white culture & explores strategies that promote inclusivity & anti-racism
Saturday, March 10 @ 9:00AM
Do you wonder
-how to see and talk about whiteness?
-if there are better ways to understand and address racism?
-if what you reject in whiteness lives in you?
-what your culture would look like without whiteness?
Whether you are a person of color or a white person, if you live in the United States, you have to deal with whiteness every day. You may not even be aware of the ways that you participate in a culture that does not support you and your communities to live full and vibrant lives. This workshop provides you with a supportive and engaging environment in which to develop awareness and practices that promote intercultural and inclusive ways of seeing, doing, and being.
In this workshop, you will
-identify what whiteness is
-clarify the ways it operates in your life
-explore spiritual leadership practices for transforming whiteness.
